STEKO 3D Print

Concrete 3D printing in Dnipro

From concrete mix
to finished structure.

We prepare concrete, print, reinforce and steam-cure elements in one workshop. Each stage anticipates the next: connections, finishing, transport and installation on your site.

Manufacturing since 2018

One system. The full production cycle.

We use CRAFTRUDER equipment and are the manufacturer’s technology partner. Our patents cover structural solutions and methods for producing printed concrete elements. We apply the experience gained since 2018 to both catalogue models and bespoke projects.

The printer’s working area measures 36 × 5 × 1.2 m. Two extruders support parallel production. A planetary concrete mixer, overhead crane, concrete trolley, curing chamber and packing areas form a continuous production sequence.

Construction 3D printer

Two extruders print concrete elements in parallel. Build volume: 36 m long, 5 m wide and 1.2 m high.

Raw materials and specifications

Heavyweight concrete with crushed aggregate.

Our mix uses fresh grey M500 cement, clean crushed aggregate up to 10 mm, prepared quarry sand and a plasticiser. M500 is the cement grade; the finished concrete is grade M250.

We control aggregate shape, favouring cubic particles, and do not use dusty screenings. Clay is screened out of the sand, while a magnet above the conveyor removes metallic inclusions. This preparation supports a consistent mix for printing thin walls.

Printing and curing

Quality begins between the layers.

Layer-by-layer printing creates the concrete’s characteristic texture. During printing, we control layer adhesion and dimensional accuracy; afterwards, we control the curing conditions.

  1. 01

    Preparing the mix

Prepared materials are combined in a planetary concrete mixer. We control concrete workability: the mix needs to pass through the extruder while retaining the shape of the printed profile.

  2. 02

    Printing layer by layer

The printer follows a digital toolpath to form each element. We coordinate the time between layers with mix workability, air temperature and humidity so that the previous layer does not dry out before the next pass.

  3. 03

    Reinforcing the element

We incorporate composite reinforcement into the printed elements. Our supplier is Arvit; the reinforcement layout is specified for each model and its role in the assembled structure.

  4. 04

    Controlled curing

We use a sliding steam-curing chamber, a solid-fuel steam generator and underfloor heating. Steam curing provides controlled conditions for printed products to harden in the workshop.

Modular construction

20 cm increments. A shape for your project.

The basic printed profile, which we call a spline, is 50 mm wide and 200 mm high. Its length and path depend on the model. Prefabricated elements are assembled in rows, each adding 20 cm to the structure’s height. One-piece and sculptural products have their own dimensions.

A printed element becomes part of a building system when connected to other modules and its foundation. Structural capacity is established through project design, accounting for self-weight, wind and other loads, ground conditions and intended use.

Reinforcement, cast-in-place connections and movement joints are provided as specified in the design.

Depending on the model, elements are installed using adhesive or cement–sand mortar. Joints can be discreet or visibly recessed.

Foundation type, anchors and assembly sequence are specified for each structure. Block and panel instructions apply to the relevant products.

A typical block weighs around 40 kg. Element and package weights are confirmed with the order to select transport and handling equipment.

Texture and colour

Keep the texture. Choose the colour.

Products are made from grey concrete without integral pigments. The chosen colour is achieved through a paint finish. We do not add water repellent to the mix, preserving adhesion to the coating and to concrete in the structural connections.

For outdoor structures, we recommend two coats of a facade paint for mineral substrates, such as Ceresit CT 54. Surface preparation, primer requirements and application method depend on the substrate and the paint manufacturer’s current technical instructions.

Plan drainage alongside the finish. Persistent moisture at the base or from lawn sprinklers affects the surface; select maintenance methods suitable for the chosen coating.

Production layout

An efficient
production flow.

Raw materials, mixing, printing, steam curing, packaging and finished-product storage are organised in one continuous sequence.

From order to site

Prepared for transport. Supported through installation.

Made to order

Average production time is around one month, or around six weeks for house kits. We agree the final schedule according to quantity and complexity. Standard payment terms are a 50% deposit and 50% before dispatch. Bespoke products made to individual drawings require a 70% deposit; remaining terms are set out in the order.

Packaging and delivery

Pallets, timber supports, protective separators, wrapping and straps are selected for the shape and weight of the products. Instructions are included. We arrange delivery across Ukraine, agreeing package dimensions, site access and unloading arrangements in advance.

Installation and support

We have our own installation crews and can recommend partners across Ukraine. We also provide instructions and advice to your contractors. Send a sketch, dimensions and site photographs so we can prepare a design proposal and quotation.

20-year warranty

When we install, the warranty covers the structure; for supply-only orders, it covers the products themselves. Coverage and conditions are set out in the contract. We replace products damaged during transport or loading and unloading. Inspect the order on receipt and contact us to arrange replacement.
